Halley Crane ’16 (white top) and Angie Peckham ’17 (blue sweatshirt), team “Caterers,” won first place in the Iron Chef competition. “We made a stuffed spaghetti squash with a tofu and taro stir fry topped with a balsamic reduction. On the side we made a butternut squash and potato mash. Pistachio and currant taro cakes. Spinach salad with apples and pumpkin seeds with a mustard balsamic dressing.” Occidental College students compete in the Iron Chef competition, sponsored by FEAST, in the AGC Quad on Oct. 31, 2014.
