Six student teams battle to win the Iron Chef competition as part of Earth Month on Thursday, April 11, 2019 in the JSC Quad. Event MC, Amos Himmelstein, provided play-by-play of the action. Their task was to create the best vegetarian or vegan starter and sauté dishes. A wide variety of fresh organic produce (some freshly picked at the FEAST garden), FEAST eggs, spices, oils AND one secret ingredient were at the team’s disposal.
Chef Brad Kent, owner of Olio GCM Wood Fired Pizzeria at Grand Central Market and co-Founder/chief culinary officer for Blaze Pizza, is this year's guest judge.
The contest is led by FEAST and supported by Campus Dining, Facilities Management, RESF, and the Office of the President.
